The air conditioning was a welcome respite from the heat, ensuring a restful night after exploring the lush surroundings. I particularly appreciated the in-room breakfast service, allowing me to savor a cup of Ceylon tea while enjoying panoramic views from my terrace. Several amenities, such as the spa lounge, felt slightly overpriced, making me question their true value. While the garden area was beautiful, I found the sun loungers a bit limited for a hotel of this standing. In terms of value, Pousada is certainly a lovely choice, but potential guests should consider if the luxury touches align with their budget. It's a nice option for those looking to indulge in Sri Lanka's tea heritage amidst stunning scenery, but with a pinch of practicality.
